Use as a shop radio and turn it on with the light so didn't want a digital that had to be reset every time the power is disconnected. Sound and reception are fine although I usually only have it tuned to local public radio station which is pretty strong. Can't beat it for the price.

I love this radio. I just wanted a basic, battery operated (this also has an electric cord) radio to listen to news, sports, weather and traffic while I'm getting ready for work. This is perfect!
