This speaker is specifically designed for the Kaito IR-168 internet radio. You can enjoy stereo sound broadcasting from more than 20,000 radio stations all over the world by using this along with the IR-168 radio, sold separately.
This compact speaker has outstanding audio and can be used as a communications speaker, ideal for use with other shortwave receivers with its black case and piano black polished face. A cable with a 3.5mm (1/8") mini plug is ready to plug into your radio's external speaker jack. The sound from the front facing speaker is much better than the top mounted internal speakers of some of the radios.
The internal full range speaker with a large magnet has excellent audio and is enhanced by the rear air port. The size of the speaker is 4 x 4 x 5". 4 small rubber feet will make sure that no scratches are left on your radio.
Please note this speaker may not be used along with small portable radios with "line out" jacks.
