I do not pretend to be very knowledgeable about the mp3 player technologies, but overall I am very happy with the Ibiza rhapsody. I chose this player because it has the ability to wirelessly connect to my Rhapsody account subscription. I does that very nicely. As with any player, the battery life never seems to be long enough, but it will last more than a couple of hours continuously on a full charge.

So I was all set to love this device. I'm a Rhapsody user and thought this would be perfect. But the truth is a couple of things work well and some not at all. The wifi option works well, the screen is very nice and the artwork if ncie too. But the bottom line is that I couldn't transfer my library to the device with the first player that was sent to me. I tried to give Haier the benefit of the doubt that maybe I just got a bad one. But when the second one was delivered I still couldn't transfer my library. I called Haier and they put my hold forever, then transferred me to some company in Canada that had no affiliation to them and couldn't help at all. Then when I called back they still couldn't tell me how to make this function work. I don't want to own any product that doesn't have good customer support. Haier does not fall into that category. They transferred me outside of their company for assistance with one of their products!!!! So I am sending it back. I have purchased a Zune and hope that I will have better luck there.

Rhapsody no longer supports these devices. You will still be able to download music but there will be no more upgrades or support to this device.

If I could give it zero stars out of five I would. This is probably the worst purchase I've ever made. The wi-fi is cool in theory, but not very functional. And the screen looks really good. However, the unit had problems right from the beginning. Every time I selected shuffle, it played the same songs in the same order. This meant that if I wanted to hear different songs than I heard yesterday, I had to allow it to play continuously, without ever turning it off or letting the battery run low. Then the player started turning itself off! And would not turn back on unless I pressed the reset button. Sometimes I had to press it five or six times to get it to power back on. One time, when I finally got it turned back on, it had over 1100 less songs on it! The screen freezes, and sometimes when you touch the touch pad nothing happens. The seller refused to replace it, instead referring me to the manufacturer. What a joke that has turned out to be. Every time I call them, they tell me the replacement should ship out "by the end of the week". Finally, the sixth person I talked to told me it hasn't shipped because they don't have any in stock, and likely won't for at least 90 days. Do yourself a favor. Go the ATM, take out 230 dollars, and set it on fire. You'll be in the same position as me, but you'll have saved yourself a lot of aggravation.

mine was dead on arrival - just the red screen saying it was malfunctioning - called Haier and got a rather rude csr -maybe he was tired of calls - turnaround time for a replacement would be about 20 days - I am contacting the company who shipped it to see about their returns policy - so far I am not impressed.
